Biography
Louis is a solicitor who works across all areas of Astraea’s dispute resolution practice, acting on complex multijurisdictional matters with a focus on commercial litigation, civil fraud, as well as enforcement and asset recovery. In addition to disputes in the English High Court, Louis frequently works on cross-border mandates involving the coordination of local counsel across several jurisdictions.
Louis also acts as an Investigator in Astraea’s intelligence and investigations practice, where he provides clients with actionable intelligence and evidence to inform decision making in both contentious and non-contentious scenarios. He has a particular specialism in unravelling complex corporate structures to identify high-value, and often concealed, assets in support of legal proceedings, and also provides clients with strategic intelligence on current and possible future counterparties.
Prior to joining Astraea, Louis worked in the corporate intelligence teams of two multinational consulting firms. He has a degree in Russian and Spanish from the University of Cambridge and also speaks fluent French.
