John Lough joins Astraea’s Special Situations Advisory Panel
John Lough joins Sir Mike Rake, Kathryn Ludlow, Simon Lewis OBE and Dr. Jamil El-Imad on Astraea’s Special Situations Advisory Panel.
John has a wealth of experience across diplomacy, business and public affairs as well as specialist expertise on Russia and the Eurasian region, both of which complement Astraea’s strong track record of commercial dispute resolution and international enforcement. John is a highly regarded expert on the politics of the Eurasian region and is currently the Head of Foreign Policy at the New Eurasian Strategies Centre and an Associate Fellow with Chatham House’s Russia & Eurasia Programme.
He worked in Russia for several years, including in a senior public affairs role at the oil joint venture TNK-BP from 2003-3008. Prior to that, John spent six years with NATO and was the first Alliance official to be based in Moscow.
